When I started learning about nutrition it was very exciting and uplifting to learn about the healing and nourishing properties of food. I honestly thought that “processed food made you fat and fruits and vegetables helped make you skinny.” I didn’t know there were so many healing elements to food such as garlic can help boost immunity, tart cherry juice can aid with sleep, dates are great for digestion and so on. And it blew my mind.
After struggling with severe knee pain for over 20 years, I was amazed to learn that certain foods were creating inflammation that were causing the pain. And that by both removing those foods that were creating the inflammation while also adding nourishing fruits and vegetables that help reduce inflammation – the pain was completely removed.
I am continually amazed at the healing I've received and seen in others by incorporating nourishing foods and love to share what I've learned with others.
While I was beginning my journey, I was searching for someone who could give me an overview of what was available, where to start and how to find the right practitioner to guide me along the way. After years of research for myself and others, interviewing and meeting with many practitioners, I have finally become the resource I was looking for myself.
I know the process can seem overwhelming at times and it can also be uplifting and empowering when you find the support and resources that are right for you.
I have been amazed by the healing and transformations I have received through energy work and love to share that with others.
Having utilized many modalities to help with healing such as support groups, journaling, counseling, and more, I have found for myself, energy work to be the most transformative..
With certifications in Reiki, Touch for Health levels 1 and 2, Energy work and more, I am continually learning and am always reaching for the highest level at which to heal.
